Enrollment for the Competitive Yo-Yoing 101 workshop will open on August 29th, 2016 and close at midnight on September 2nd, 2016. The workshop covers what you need to do to craft a good quality freestyle using the time tested techniques I have used over the years to rank highly at many competitions from 2005 – 2016.
There will only be 10 seats available for this workshop, and it will span three weeks, the first will be on Friday September 9th, 2016, the second will be on the 16th of September, and the final will be on the 23rd. They will start at 7pm mountain time and will last anywhere between an hour to two hours, depending on how long it takes to go through the materials and answer questions as they arise.
Each session will be recorded so that students can review the class later or miss a class if they have to. The recordings will be added within 48 hours of the session completing. There are also worksheets for the course that will aid in the implementation of the topics covered.
The curriculum covers how to pick your music, how to plan your tricks, choreographing your music, setting up practice time, and what to expect at the contest. There are many other items that will be included as well, but those are the main focus.
If you have any questions about the course or would like to suggest topics to cover please feel free to send me an email through my contact page.
It is worth noting that this course is geared towards someone who is competing for the first time or who has been to a few competitions and felt like they bombed it on stage. This course will clear up the fog of what makes a good freestyle, what to do when you’re on stage to help you not freeze up, how to practice so that you have the highest likelihood of getting a solid score.
I can’t guarantee you will win a contest, but if you actually work at what we cover, you will do better than I did at my first contest, and if you have competed before without this system, you’ll do better than you have in the past.
The cost is $97.00.
